Artist: C2C Track: Arcades Album: Arcades - Single   These guys really are the act that wants to be Daft Punk's rivals. The French quartet of DJ's, C2C combine breakbeat and turntablism to create a high tempo blend of hip hop and funky electronica which seems to be perfect for the festivals...

Title: Mozart’s Sister

Artist: Mozart’s Sister

Album: “Hello” – EP

Montreal’s Caila Thompson-Hannant (AKA – Mozart’s Sister) has a new self titled track from her new EP, “Hello”, and having listened through the whole 3.40 several times, one thing can be said for sure, FRESH!

So many artists come and go, offering up a middle of the road,’ I’ll forget all about you in a few weeks’, sound were the vocals are droany, or the thump, thump, thump repetition of a bass drum is just a noise that causes headaches. This track however offers up a unique drum sound, musical loops, outstanding vocals, and a catchy, non-poppy, chorus.

If I were to compare the style of music to anything I’ve ever heard before, I’d say the vocals were reminiscent of a Florence/ Rumor crossbreed, with the style of Little Dragon.

Having never before listened to Mozart’s Sister, I know that from this day forward i’ll be on the lookout for future releases.

Think of Random access Memories by Daft Punk as the "Dark Side of the Moon-Pink Floyd" of the current generation! #groundbreakingsound
